Honestly, it was cute that a simple smile was the cause of such reaction from his fellow celestial monkey. Only stirring him to see how much he could tease him now in response — what buttons he could push to get even more out of him.
The sage began leaning closer, invading Macaque's personal bubble JUST enough. Though he was mindful for now not to get too close or touch him — he wanted to tease him sure, but there was still those personal boundaries he kept in mind for now. Their relationship was still very rocky right now and he didn't want to do anything to push that divide that was already there.
