it’d be hard to forget the whirlwind of a first impression he gave equius earlier this week, and honestly if he caught him in any other scenario he’d probably just burst out laughing. this is a community event for all ages, however. lanque will be gracious just this once. he’s having way too much fun ice skating on the frozen koi lake, after all! 

he glides over in his series of coats, turning his feet to prompt a stop in front of him and offering a gentle smile as well as a gloved hand. seeing his decidedly unsteady stance, lanque just can’t help himself to offer.

“ do you need help? i know ice skating isn’t easy to pick up, but with a little bit of practice it’s not so bad. ”

the unfortunate thing about having an ideal, a goal to shoot for, is that even when it’s reached it has to be maintained. strength is less of a goal and more of a byproduct from aiming for a perfect body, but a byproduct that lanque doesn’t really mind. a good hour of running, pulling, and lifting leaves him relatively exhausted as a thorough work out should. 

he heads to the locker room, ready to shower and keep the day going. the last thing lanque expects is for anyone to open the door. a blue blood even less so, but here equius is. kindly opening the door, prompting a confused gaze almost ready to make a mocking remark. an ‘are you sure?’ honestly almost leaves his lips... but he gives the man a once over, clicking his tongue and a smile slowly growing on his features realizing exactly how much sweat is already on equius.

“ you know, even after a work out i’ve never seen anyone get as wet as you are. do you wanna join me, hot stuff? ”
