Ventus had returned home not too long after another battle that had been won by the heavens. He, as the God of Light, had endured not one but many others like this. The Realm below which humans inhabited was far from being safe. Creatures from the dark came to be easily through human’s emotions. Greed, hatred, envy... All of them called forth more forces than they could defeat and with so much negativity lately it was unlikely the creatures would stop from appearing.
It had been the same way millennia ago, in a time where Ventus hadn’t come to be yet. Gods depended on humans to survive, to be born, and he had been born only a few centuries ago - A long time for a human, almost nothing to a God. Yes, it had been the same way before but somehow humans were much more fragile nowadays. Even more reason for him to fight off the creatures that came from the Underworld.
Once He and His angels returned home he had watched over the skies and made sure nothing suspicious trespassed. And by nothing suspicious, He meant creatures from the dark, things He could feel were harmful. It was rare for anything to show tup so He couldn’t hide his surprise when He saw three of His Angels surrounding a fourth one, threatening to hurt him.
As fast as His wings managed to carry him, Ventus approached the warriors and looked down to who exactly they were threatening. Before Him was another Angel - A dark-winged Angel, never seen before in his domain. Ventus’ green eyes stared into yellow ones almost as if seeing through him, through his very soul. It wasn’t like the creature’s.
“Dark Winged Angel whose face is not familiar to the realm of light... Introduce yourself.”
