Lucifer did not know much about the bride and groom at this wedding, but he had heard that the guy was a rich businessman, which meant he had to have some equally rich business friends who would surely be in attendance. Sure enough, he eventually spotted none other than Bruce Wayne, and Lucifer's eyes lit up at the thought of getting on his good side.

"Mister Wayne, it is an honor!" he exclaimed as he approached Bruce, holding out his hand, "Lucifer Morningstar, I own a nightclub in the city, Lux Duo, and I would love to have a little chat with you, if you're amenable?"

When it seemed someone was ignorant of Loki's identity, his typical response was to criticize their ignorance. But in this case, he was too busy trying not to chuckle at the ridiculous costume on this mortal. (Nevermind the fact that Loki was currently garbed in his own imposing regalia and helmet.) He had been admiring the view from a rooftop, imagining how lovely it would be to truly look down upon the mortals from a throne when his thoughts were interrupted by this costumed cretin.

Affording the mortal a glance over his shoulder, Loki said, "You should, but in your case, perhaps I may forgive you for thinking I am simply a superior competitor in the garment department." After all, if the fool was insisting on wearing an ostentatious outfit, it at least should have a little color. "I must ask, do you mortals truly have no sense of fashion? Or do I just have the misfortune of meeting the ones who lack it?"
