“What do you think about Halloween?” Walker’s voice was soft and low, after all, his mouth was close to Bob’s ear. He felt Bob’s body move almost like a gentle breeze on a warm summer day. So comforting, so familiar…
“Nothing scary, once you realize the monsters aren’t under the bed—they’re inside us.” He shrugged lightly, turned his head, and felt those blue orbs of Walker’s almost as if they were taking notes on his movements.
“So, no tricks or treats?” He nibbled on Bob’s earlobe, then laughed and pulled away just as Bob moved his hand to throw water at him. He grabbed the dish towel to dry the dishes Bob handed him, drying them and putting them away in their proper places in the cabinet.
