The true horror of deltarune for me is that in playing we are inherently in the wrong. No matter the choices we make nor how good we try to be we are still taking Kris’s autonomy and bending them to our will. That’s why it truly sucks. I relate so deeply to Kris, but they will always resent me and that’s not something I can change by being nice because even if it’s something they wanted to do, it still wasn’t their decision to do it. I’m the antagonist of their story. I’ll never been their friend despite how much I may want it.

I’ve been thinking a lot about what Ralsei is. Every darkner has a light world counterpart so he is obviously something but Ralsei is the only one who can survive is every dark world. This makes me think that maybe he isn’t something that belongs to a specific place. Maybe he is more of a concept rather than an item. I really think he is the concept of loneliness. Hell we are even introduced to him as the lonely prince. And if the knight isn’t a lightner then maybe it is also a concept. Or maybe it’s just Dess’s reanimated corpse. But I feel confident about Ralsei not being an object but a concept.

I had surgery a few days ago which means I can eat basically nothing but I also got my period at the same time which means I’m craving everything.

It isn’t helping that my socials are filled with soul food.

I want to tear up a fried chicken combo with some mac, onions rings and biscuits. Get an ice tea on the side. Maybe some candied yams and cornbread for dessert. But I cried today while trying to eat a banana. This is actual torture.
