dick looked at kate, and nodded at her. ❝it seems everyone who works with bruce has some kind of childhood traumas. me? i saw my parents fall to their deaths, what about you?❞ kate never really talked about the things she went through, at least not with dick. he was curious as to what led her to take up the mental as batwomen. he knew why he had became robin, but now he was at a loss because now jason and damien were taking up that responsibility. he had become a cop because he was trying to find what he was suppose to do. maybe a new perspective from kate would help him out

’None of that stuff is true’ Finn & Kamala

Kamala looked up to her friend, she didn’t think much of the old report she was reading. It didn’t seem to add up and older reports tended to me a bit of nonsense to her. However she saw an opportunity to poke at her friend.

“Really?” She said faking her shock,“I would have never thought to take any of this with a grain of salt.” She couldn’t keep it up though, she chuckled and nodded, “I know, buddy.”

’You’re not afraid of me are you?’ Merlin & Kamala

There aren’t many things that actually scare Kamala... well... the list would probably look long, but she felt like they were all reasonable fears that probably everyone had. But Merlin didn’t really set off her fight or flight.

“Afraid of you?” She let out a small laugh, “Merlin, I think the only time you could make me afraid of you is if you came at me sideways with a knife.”

Kamala thankfully was able to stop herself from rolling her eyes. Like, duh, who wouldn’t want to be adored. Especially a guy who was probably someone that was very hard to adore.

Of course Kamala didn’t even dream of saying that sort of thing aloud. So she gave a pressed smile. “I have no doubt, Mr. Nygma.”

"you passed out." Merlin & Kamala

Kamala sat up quickly before the dizziness caught up with her, causing her to lay right back down. She looked around to see a young man looking at her, he looked kind of scruffy but she wouldn’t say that. It’s not polite. He said something to her and she nodded in acknowledgment before actually properly comprehending what he said.

She didn’t remember what caused her to pass out and she only faintly remember what she dreamed about when she was out. Something about being back on earth with her friends, they were going to get Korean Barbecue. It was a memory more than a dream.

“Aw... Merlin... Have you ever craved Korean BBQ so much that you could almost smell it?” She asked as she more cautiously sat back.

"when were you going to tell me?" BB & Finn

Eyes aimed resolutely at the floor, BB couldn’t bear to look up at him. It was like being scolded by a parent. In fact, they would have much preferred to be yelled at- to be screamed at- by Rey or Poe. Of all their parental figures, of all the humans they trusted, Finn being disappointed was the worst outcome this situation could have had.  

How could he understand? He wasn’t being tailed like they were. He didn’t have Security breathing down his neck. He wasn’t in a body he didn’t understand. 

“I did it to protect you,” They mumbled.

He wouldn’t understand. 

He couldn’t understand. 

“They’re already after me. They’re following me and waiting for me to do... I dunno, something. If they did that to you? If they hurt you because of me?”

A shaky breath before lifting their gaze. Eyes hard. “I’m not worth that happening. You shouldn’t get hurt because of a droid.”

"i don’t want you to be alone." kate & steph

Steph adjusted her position on the seat, fork idly pushing around the food on her plate. Wanting to focus on the suspect greens on her plate instead of the other’s words. 

“I’m not alone,” She mumbled, before clearing her throat. She raised her head again. “Really, I’m not. Here I have you, Peter, Dean, Amber, Magnus, Ozzie. I was alone in Gotham. No one would speak to me, my friends wouldn’t even look at me. This is nothing compared to home.”
