His eyes sparkle as he says, “I’ve got a lot to work with!” The assistant Professor swipes through the data a few times before closing the hologram. As much as he’s tempted to just sit down and go through it all right away, he really should wait to be back at the Lab for that.
“Shame I couldn’t find Melony too, a battle between you two would be right thrillin’. But there’s always next time...?” There’s a lilt at the end of the sentence, more like a question than anything, a way of checking in with the other.
