HI OP sorry for the ask but I read ur tags and I'm nodding so hard. I agree I think they totally had at LEAST like a one time thing and they're both trying really hard to act like it didn't happen; volition says he's completely moved but there's at least a bit of shame in it, he blames himself for having "lowered" himself if only for a moment. You know that like he has where he admits he wants all the same awful things harry does? THAT kind of shame.

Endurance says it too but he's clearly way more bitter about it. It isn't just Du Bois bitterness but also in a sort of "I am stronger and better than you and I want you to admit it and also that you need me back". Does that make sense.

I don't think they actively interact in game, but considering Endurances instance on Power and strength I wouldn't be surprised if they had a bit of a mufasa-scar "battle for power" dynamic. Endurance taunting volition about how weak he's Become etc etc, the good homoerotic rivalry stuff.

YESS!! Slaps Volition's side, this bad boy can hold SO much shame. Endurance being like 'I am over you, which is why I'm showing off how much better I am without you, totally not trying to impress you' is suchhh a good thought omggg.

Volition WILL get embarrassed when anyone brings up Endurance and it having dated, but also is like 'okay but why are you asking did Endurance ask about me or something, just curious!!' like neither of these bitches can get over anyything

I also have specific hcs about how like low morale Volition is basically like having low level Volition and same with Endurance, and for Volition specifically that makes it wayyy less talkative (Endurance doesn't really talk much, and when it does its more often in non-passive check situations, at least in my experience) So I love imagining it laying face down on the floor in a slump of 'everything feels bad and I don't wanna move or exist rn' and imagining Endurance, saying nothing, and just.. sitting beside it. And vice versa, bc both of them have roles within the skills as skills that help keep Harry afloat and that means assisting the other furies also

just... ough let them be Tense and Awkward with each other, but there is still a little bit of that connection, that they both steadfastly ignore except when they know it really matters....

And yesss, Endurance being like 'woowww, you are losing morale over THIS? pathetic' and Volition wants to punch it soooo bad. Homoerotic rivalry of all time <33
