Oh yeah, so today the volleyball team I help coach got third place in the tournament! YAY (so we’re at least top 16 overall). Super proud of them. Although, they could’ve gotten first or second imo. During the semi-final match, they kinda... sorta.. really choked... But they made up for it in the bronze medal match.
Being a coach is exhausting (mentally). Having to watch the girls, tell them what to correct, praising them for what they did right, and all that is actually a lot of work. I’ve always respected my coached, appreciated what they did for me. But now, being an assistant coach myself, I appreciate them even more for everything they’ve ever done for me. It ain’t easy being a coach! Although, there are things that make it worthwhile!!!!
