Chapter 3 of twelve fool. Speaker: Glaidar
She shed the covers and let her bare feet touch the stone floor. She lightly stepped her way to me, my gods do her hips sway, she leaned up to kiss me. Her soft hands touch my face as her softer lips bless my own.
Glaidar's narration. Chapter three: sword of infamy, Excerpt from twelve fools.
Sometimes we just can't love our selves like we should

Wise man
I believe a wise man speaks through me when I write, it allows me to hit one's heart and soul.
He is on old wise man, he's traveled the time, and worn the ages.
His mind is aged yet keen to words that strike a person with power and intensity.
He is my soul, he is an ancient soul at that.

Keyaam
The darkness that wholly emptiness that engulfs me as though it is a mass of black hunger. The coolness of my surroundings are rather apparent and striking, yet calm. I'm accepting what is to become of me I float out here aimlessly not of choice but of force. This emptiness is sad, dragging, nagging at my being, my heart, my soul. Space is rather expansive yet desolate and abandoned.
I wake in a cold sweat from my nightmare. My sweat makes my bed wet but cold as ice and a chilling feeling throughout. As I rise from my normally comfortable bed I gaze out of the hull window of the ship. Nothing but the uninhabited darkness ahead , yet it's calming knowing that I'm in good health and no one is out to harm me here. After a rather involving and deeply thought internal conversation, I set off for the kitchen.
The kitchen is nice and warm ,the smell of automated cooking bacon, eggs, and toast fills the air as though it was blasting it's delicious smell to my nostrils. My stomach’s deep rumbles remind me of the turbines and the incomparable power of the ship's inner bowels. The non-manned AI of the ship, Nid Buriis or Bru for short, greets me ” morning young intergalactic traveler ,how are we?” He says in an extremely human voice, I don't know if they programmed him that human or just my loneliness made him more human. “I'm fine Bru just hungry.” I said sitting and the bar of the kitchen spinning back and forth in the fun swirly chair, I always love that light shade of blueish yellow that the chair was done in.
“The food will be ready in one moment my good sir, thank you for your patience.” His pivotal screen nods to me and goes back to cooking the toast to a light golden brown. “Your breakfasts are the best Bru.” I smile still spinning in my seat just waiting for the great meals he makes. It takes about five minutes after our conversation for the breakfast to be, was on my plate, then to my stomach.” Bru why do you take so long to make breakfast, yet it's so good?” I inquire the question while digesting the food I was asking about. “It is just a matter of heat, I being the best cook on the ship Keyaam must keep a reputation and good name, you are our worlds sacri……” as Bru tries to finish his sentience the ship's sentinel core gives a frizzed crack over the auto waves breaking his words with the noise.”sorry Bru need to check this out.”I jump from my swirly-chair and head towards the core.
The ship's inner’s gives echoing booms as though a thunderous giant resides within. The pipes, chains, sparks, and glowing orange rods give a dark and ominous tone. This reminds me of a story i once read “down a dark hall” I chuckled thinking of the comparison. I run my hands down the dusty dark tinted metal as I make away towards the noises of the core. The way forth towards the sentinel core was littered with odd machines and incomparable components things I sure know not of. As I reach the sentinel core the frizzing sound is booming at mind numbing amplitude.
The core is not a core per say it's a computer and monitors just called the core, well I guess it is. As I approach upon the core the monitors with images of a civil war General spin at attention to face me. “Sir there is a problem. I have lured you down here sorry for the inconvenience sir.” I step back at the oddity what could ever be wrong, this system is perfect they told me before I set off. “What is it, what will I still be able to come back home?” I ask with hesitancy and stand still as an old stone statue ,waiting. “I fear that this was not what you were told it would be.” He said in a voice robotic yet chilling me to my very heart. “The name of the ship gives it's purpose and your’s.” He spins a screen to face me showing the ship's name and it's translation. I fall back in horror “you now know it's purpose you were here to be used and as for Bru don't trust him, he can't hear this far down but he will reap your doom, careful.” I push away not wanting to believe but this truth or what I believe to be the truth. I run down the hall fear coursing through my veins more then blood is, pumping me propelling me forwards towards Bru. The state I'm finding myself in is perplexing. Whether trust the sentinel core who showed me stuff that completely contradicts my hopes and dreams but…..
“So what happened at the sentinel core?” Bru says as I enter huffing and puffing like the wolf in a story my mother once read me. “N n n nothing Bru what's with you?” I lean against the wall near the door for an escape if required. I feel my feet trembling beneath me and my breath heavy.” I know your troubled sir TELL ME!” His anger makes the ship's machines shake and spark, I head for the door and he in hot pursuit, he is persistent on his way of catching me if he gets me I'll surely perish.
I push my through the twelve different corridors. I don't remember these corridors being this long and many “cursed!” I whisper under my breath in frustration “COME ON GOOD SIR DON'T BE FEARFUL!” His voice blasts from every and all speaker. He sends a gas that fills my lungs and blears my vision and I soon find mysel…
I wake find my surroundings to those of a cell. I read the sign above the door “quarters door" As I enter I find myself not In my room but in space ,that blasphemous robot tricked me all those years on the ship, to have this be my end. Blown out an escape hatch. To be the saviour but lose my life to trickery. I fear that the truth does indeed kill. I find it hard to accept what has happened today as any other but now instead of finding myself in my bed this evening I am floating in space. I cry tears finding that this moment has doomed me, that damn bot has sealed my fate to be as though he was Montresor sealing away Fortunato in the catacombs.
Space is rather expanse yet desolate and abandoned. My dream proves itself to be true, more than I would ever hope. I look desperately at the ship as it slowly leaves me. Bru’s voice breaks the silence, a voice I’ve heard for seven years. A voice I grew to enjoy and converse with quite often. He was all I had of my humanity, a robot was my only remembrance of home.
“You really are a fool aren’t you? You couldn’t just stay a dumb blind sheep could you? You now know your worlds dark secret. I’ll be quick seeing that your air supply is quite limited, isn’t it? Well there are some holes left in the story you know so i’ll be your teacher.” he was right, I didn’t have long. That was hard to accept but I had to.”See, to keep the rest of the population safe one must be sacrificed every year. There has been a demand for life and death from the abyss so to gratify this we send out people. This isn’t the first or last keyaam or as you learned, it’s called keyaam or “Forsaken” for a reason, observe.” As I did glance I saw a grave yard. An endless Field of bodies and other ships, all reading ‘Keyaam’. “There was a different meaning to your trip ‘around the sun’ you were and are to be sacrificed as many before you and after you, as we speak there is another ship behind you, another behind that, and even another behind that. All doomed to your fate, they are unknowingly marching to their death, blind till the end.” I glanced behind me, there was a glitter in the distance, a year away. “My name also has meaning it means ‘No Hope’ exactly what you have. If you were smart enough to question then maybe you wouldn’t be here. Hahahahah anyway, you have a great time suffocating.”
Howling woods call and beacon through out the trees painted black by night. I stepped and I creeped down a leaf covered path that hide beneath my feet. Leaves were kicked and thrown around by gusts of hot wind. I wonder and felt my way to venture further and further from what was nearer and nearer. The night was cold and harsh to all parts of me. What little warmth there was from the wind soon was claimed by the night.
When I look back I realise I should have known that the wind on a night like that is never hot.

Flashing
Wowing and swaying those who hear
Singing and saying all who'd listen
We spend all our time along with it
We come closer, intertwined and knit
From birth to death , love and lust, to fail and trust that it will lead us on. Tick and tock silent at times as she creeps and pounding as she rushes by. Time will be with us all of her self. Hand and hand we walk beside us all.
