It was a rare treat for them, Terrance’s pretty bride was actually making an appearance in his establishment for a change. Not only that, but she was actively engaging in conversation with them, brightening their spirits, generating laughter... Within the hour they were singing her praises. All the men declaring that she was a darling little thing. On the outside, it seemed innocent, simply Terrance’s wife attempting to befriend the locals. But truly, this ability to generate trust amongst the locals was useful. It stopped them being suspicious in the late hours...
