XENA & THE IXION STONE
This is the result of a silly idea that got out of hand but I'm very pleased with it nonetheless. If Xena got her hands on the Ixion stone back in her warlording days, the result would not have been pretty. In terms of colour I chose to give her a buckskin coat, feeling like it would fit the best with her normal colour-scheme.

Maybe I just love women who were forged in the heat of battle, and who's courage will change the world. Little doodle of Xena since I started my rewatch last week. It's slow watching because there's a lot happening irl, but I'm very happy to be enjoying it again!

Mind you, having said that, most of my Doctor Who fic is still only on my Live Journal, so it's probably nearer to 4 million if they were archived on AO3 as well as I wrote a helluva lot of Who fic in the early years of my fic writing 'career'!

Since the papercut incident was mentioned: things I wish were included in that scene in the movie adaptation! Esme actually vocally excusing herself with her hand over her face, Esme cleaning the bloodstains off the floor with bleach just to get the smell of it out. It's very telling for her character and lets be real, I just want to see more Liz Reasy on my screen.

Honestly though! I remember reading that bit in the books about Esme having to duck out with her hand over her face and just,, needing to see that. Esme cleaning, Esme wanting to help, Esme not being able to help because Bella's smelling too yummy and excusing herself apologetically. Why didn't we get this Chris?
