Originally from Pittsburgh, Allison Adair now lives in Boston, where she teaches literature and creative writing courses at Boston College and Grub Street. Her poems and flash pieces have appeared in American Poetry Review, Best American Poetry (2018), Best New Poets, Boston Review, Gulf Stream, Missouri Review, and Shenandoah, among other journals. She has been awarded the Pushcart Prize (2019), top prize in the Mid-American Review Fineline Competition, the Orlando Prize from AROHO, and the Florida Review Editors' Award.

Malcolm Friend is a poet originally from the Rainier Beach neighborhood of Seattle, Washington.
