So I have the Dr. Marten 1914 Vonda boots and some kid kicked the toes and scratched them super deep through the top smooth leather finish. I have red leather pant almost the same shade as the roses ... I think in going to paint every crack red ...

Since I’ve more or less finalized Vonda’s design I wanted to share the first draft on the left, which isn’t that different, it’s mostly just her face. I thought the eyes were too similar to Shino’s. But the proportions are closer to what her non-chibi design would be.

Also, I was tossing around the idea of her having a male monster traveling companion to mirror Shino.... but I thought that kind of sucked and took away from her identity ( actually I’m thinking maybe her partner could be just another human woman her own age. ) ...Plus, the Imp looks too much like Shimp, and I still don’t know what kind of design I want for Kobolds in Pocket Arsenal.
