Hans Heinrich von Katte, Hans Hermann von Katte and Dorothea Sophie von Wartensleben (later Katte). Hans lost his mother when he was three years old. Dorothea Sophie was 23 years old when her life ended.

Can we take a moment to appreciate Frederick II’s (Frederick the Great of Prussia) best friend and lover who literally risked his whole life in helping Frederick flee to England..and got executed for treason with Frederick watching (his father forced him to). They yelled they’re goodbyes in French and from that day, Frederick never spoke of him again. He left a letter to his father apologizing and stuff and ah I can’t I’m getting emotional.
