What was Draven doing when he got afflicted with the Worgen Curse?
He was on his way home from a night of thievery. At that time, Draven and his sister lived alone near the outskirts of Gilneas City in a run down area used as a fish market. They both were in their early 20′s and had to resort to robbery and theft to survive. Once rumours about the beasts started, Draven decided to go solo, so his sister could stay home. He did that to make sure she was safe, little did he know that it would have the opposite effect.
And on that fateful night, he returned to find the door broken open and saw claw marks dragging themselves across the wooden floor. Furniture was tossed about and there was blood dripping from the wall. When he reached the doorway, he saw the shape of the creature in the dark and its muzzle dripping red. Assuming that it had killed his sister, he attacked the beast in a rush of anger and even managed to kill it. But he got bitten in the scuffle just like his sister, who had not been killed by the Worgen. She had managed to escape and hid in a secret basement they had build together, in case the guards would show up. Naturally he was relieved to see her alive but ultimately, they both had been cursed by the encounter.
