The Imperator's spouse
"I recognize him," Cirilla says, referring to the painted face of her Grandfather, "But I don't think I've ever seen her before."
Morvran follows her guesture to the woman depicted next to the late Emperor. "That is Emperor Fergus' wife, Empress Mathilde."
"Oh, is it! So tell me, dear future consort," she says with a sharp smile, "If the position of spouse to the Imperator is such an honor, why is this the first time I've ever seen a painting of this woman?"
Morvran, well trained to get straight to the point by now, simply tsks.
"As usual, princess, your family likes to make things unnecissarily complicated. The issue, as it so often does, originates with your father, who is the son of Emperor Fergus, but not the son of Empress Mathilde. Which, of course, makes having too many pictures of her around a bit... awkward."

I'm getting in on the OC action. Seeing what all the fuss was about.
Be prepared for some var Emreis family drama, very much inspired by "days of our lives", "bold and the beautiful", and an assortment of "the song of ice and fire" lore videos .
