I ache for summer thundershowers I haven't fallen asleep to the sky rumbling in three years. I miss wringing the flood out of my humidity curled hair and running through puddles. I want to be the last person swimming again because everyone has gone inside for fear of lightning. The constant chirp of cicadas overtaken by the white noise of the storm. Cool rain relieving the relentless heat. The diffused light and petrichor made me new.

we have sorta good intentions but not the best ways of trying to do things

and also we’re both miserable and we both want death and we both keep unintentionally hurting people which makes us even more miserable and also angry at the world
