maldiligenta / diligenta - lazy / diligent

After a small hiatus of being maldiligenta (lazy), I’m back. One of the things I really appreciate about Esperanto is the use of the mal- prefix to create words.

Kajero - Notebook

Mi skribas en mia kajero ĉiutage. - I write in my notebook everyday.

I am trying to write at least a few sentences every day with the words I am learning in Esperanto. It isn’t easy when you only know a handful of words, but it prompts me to look up words I would actually use instead of only using what Duolingo has given me so far.

eltiraĵo

世界语中的eltiraĵo是「摘录」的意思，同英语excerpt。但这个词更多让我想到日语中的同义词「抜粋」。

这个词的构词十分清晰：

​eltiraĵo（抽出的东西 → 摘录）

eltiri（抽出） +‎ -aĵo（与词根有关的具体事务）

el-（从…中出来） +‎ tiri （拉、拽，源自法语tirer、意大利语tirare）

做摘录，就好像把语词文字从书中抽出来一样。这样看来，「抜粋」（ばっすい）这个词也是足够形象了。
