So, now that we're all registered to vote (right?) it's a good idea to figure out what you want to vote FOR. You could vote a straight D ticket, if you want, but the best plan is to know what the candidates stand for. There are also ballot measures that need a Yes/No vote, and you should find out how you feel about those before you go to vote. 

It's really important to vote your WHOLE ballot, because it's in the small races that your vote can really count. Local politics often effect you most directly. 

You can use https://www.vote411.org/ or https://votesaveamerica.com/ballot to create a custom ballot you can take with you to the polls. 

If you can vote early, find out where and the hours, and plan when you're going to go. Don't leave it to chance!

So that wildfire I posted about…yeah that has now been burning for two weeks, and it just set off 18 unexploded World War Two bombs. The roads have been closed since last night, but now they’re planning evacuations…so…I really need folks to come out for their local elections and learn stuff so we don’t elect another police and crimes commissioner who cuts the fire service budget, or a mayor who does the same…because that seems to be what’s happening…and like…18 bombs just exploded, and the fire has been burning for 2 weeks!!!!

Super Tuesday

If you live in the U.S. and your state votes tomorrow in the primaries...VOTE ffs. Get out and vote, get your friends to vote, your family to vote. This day is going to go a long way to decide who the Democratic nominee will be to face that orange fuck face in November. There are most likely down ballot races that are important as well. High turnout has always meant the GOP loses so get out and vote.
