This election cycle it's time to cut the BS. Black people are out here dying, out here trying to feed their children, being enslaved by our justice system, manipulated by corporate America, and raped of our culture. We do not live in a post-racial society. Any candidate that does not have "End institutionalized racism" as one of their top campaign issues (and I do mean top), will not get my vote. If your posting memes and cool quotes about bringing the confederate flag down, and #blacklivesmatter , But then you cast your vote based on climate change, military spending, and tax reform... Then black people aren't important to you. It's as simple as that. What's going on in this country is tactful, veiled, well-planned oppression and modern-day slavery. Nothing else is more important right now. Republican, Democrat, Independent... Doesn't matter... If your going to ensure that my kids have every opportunity, freedom and privilege that your kids enjoy, then you have my vote. If not, your the enemy. If you believe we're already equal, your the enemy.
