Off to Rebel... I mean, #vote. #VoteGreen2015 #GE2015
Vote Big. Vote Brave.
#Election2015 #VoteGreen2015 I'm voting Green because I want them in, and need them in. For me, people like me, my friends, my family, the planet, the animals, for this generation and future generations. If everyone who SAID they supported Green actually VOTED for them, I honestly believe they'd win, and it would change politics, this country, and our lives, forever.
Dear fellow British Tumblr users
Tomorrow is the general election.
I know not everyone is old enough to vote, but if you are and have registered (which you should have because they may fine you if you haven’t), please please PLEASE use your vote tomorrow.
So many people have fought for you to have the chance to vote, so put it to good use.
Also, please don’t feel like your vote doesn’t count. In the last general election, turnout was 65%, and although that was an increase from the previous election (x), there are still so many people who think that their voice doesn’t matter or won’t be heard. Every vote counts, so make sure you use yours!
Also, there’s been a lot of shit in the past five years with the cuts and austerity measures, and a lot of people, particularly young people (as most of you on here probably will be) have been hit hard with things like tuition fee increases, cuts to EMA, and even more long term things that you don’t really think about that much at the minute, like the fact that most of us will probably struggle to ever own our own home, etc.
If you want this to change, please don’t sit back and wait for it to happen. Use your vote - if you don’t, you can’t really complain all that much when more cuts and so on are made after this election!
Vote sensibly - if you’re going to ‘protest vote’ to make a point, think before voting for a party like UKIP (here are a couple of links to think about x x).
Tactical voting hasn't worked, get out and vote for change. #votegreen2015 #thegreenparty #greenparty #greens
