I keep reading comments and posts calling for Remain voters to stop being bitter after #brexit. What do you expect? We are entitled to be bitter. I, as a young voter looking ahead to my future, am entitled to be bitter. Younger generations voted overwhelmingly to Remain, and yet it will be our future battered by a reckless and uninformed decision by the older generations and those in Little England. As a generation crippled by student debt, We are entitled to be bitter about losing our right to free education across the EU, As a generation who already owe 45k+ in student loans and will struggle to ever buy, we are entitled to be bitter about facing another recession, As a generation that faces an ever increasing retirement age and lower pensions, we are entitled to be bitter about losing the EU pension protection schemes and and economy that will jeopardise our future financial security. As a generation that that overwhelmingly welcomes and rejoices in our migrant neighbours' friendship, contribution and presence in Britain we are entitled to feel bitter that they no longer feel welcome and face and uncertain future here, As a generation that hopes to build bridges globally and experience new cultures and opportunities, we are entitled to feel bitter that we potentially lost our futures across countless countries in Europe, If you expect me to ever remain silent over my complete devastation of this referendum, then unfollow me; this is a democracy after all and with that I am entitled to free speech to voice my bitterness and fear over this decision as loud and as often as I want. #IamStillEuropean
