Dear partners, friends and family in Christ
I trust this finds you well and prosperous in every area of your life. It has been a great month for me as I had the joy and the privilege to be in WBS. It was such a Seminar. What a powerful and rich legacy we have inherited! What a great family we are part of! Thank you Pastor Hagin and Mrs Lynette for all you have done for us and for making us feel home. Thank you each one of you who made this Seminar so special. It was amazing to see everyone be back at where our lives were transformed and impacted once for ever. I love you all and appreciate everything you did. I thank God for the wonderful time I spent with my dear and precious brothers and sisters in the Lord. I had the opportunity to meet many of them and it is always a great joy and honor for me. I was so honored to visit my precious Brother and Friend Pastor Massud & Zoreh and their wonderful congregations. Thank you so much for what you did for me and for treating me as a King. I was thrilled to see the wonderful work you are doing and get to meet your so precious congregation.
I want also to Thank Faby and Julio Gury (Bruna's sister and brother) for the great hospitality ofered to me. I had two wonderful weeks with my precious ones and the opportunity to see and hear many great things God does to them and through them. I love you both little ones Faby and Gury.
I came back a few days ago and now I am getting ready for the 1st wedding in our church and I am so excited. Bruna will update you more on what has been taking place this month.
Trip to Seattle and Vancover with his Iranian friends!
There are no words to express the joy and the honor that Pastor Spyros felt when visiting Pastor Massud & Zoreh, their beautiful family and the 2 churches where they pastor.
Pastor Massud & Zoreh come from Iran and they graduated together 2006 from Rhema US. Pastor Spyros has been and continues to pray for Iran as it has been in his heart for a long time now. He considered this reunion with his friendfs as a gift from God. While sharing about this trip he spoke about how Pastor Massud, Zoreh and their wonderful family have such a heart for their nation and how they are doing an amazing job with their folks. He was so touched to see them with their kids work in the ministry, by all these amazing testimonies and by the passion that their people had for the things of God.
They are satelliting straight to Iran leading people to Christ and also ministering through landline to people. Amazing stories of how God has been moving among them.
One of the testimonies that had touched his heart while he was there was the fact that how a young gangster Iranian guy had accepted Christ and on his birthday he invited all his gangs to church for his birthday to witness to them about Christ.
God is doing something wonderful in that region and we continue to pray for Iran. Again thank you so much Pastor Massud & Zoreh for everything you did for our Pastor and for treating him like a King. You are amazing leaders, Pastors and friends to him.
Our Fabjana the New American!
Pastor Spyros was so thrilled and honored to be present as his little one was becoming officially an American citizen.
She was part of his youth group when he was a youth pastor and at her sixteen years old she was a team leader doing an amazing job. She is an amazing woman of faith and he/we are so proud of the lady she has become. God has honored us with her and we are looking forward to see all that God has in store for her and her family. Keep going Fabjana and the best is yet to come. He also had the opportunity now that he was in Tulsa to stay at her house with her and my brother Julio and Pastor Spyros did not cease speaking about how they treated him like a King. He enjoyed his time with them so much and we praise God to see the change and the growth that has taken place in them. We believe that wonderful and amazing things are on their way. Thank you Fabjana and Julio for everything you did for our Pastor while he was there and for making his time so special. He loves you guys so much.
It has been amazing to see the transformation that has taken place in the life of our students. During this month we had a course on Childrens ministry and the students had to prepare a drama in less than an hour. It was amazing to see the anointing and the passion they had while doing it. Different personalities, different backgrounds and from different nation yet one family. They did an amazing job and there are no words to express the gratitude to God and how thrilled we are of the work that the Lord has been doing in them. God is on the move and he is raising a new generation, an army for his glory. Tramp Tramp Tramp!
A Rhema student on mission
Her name is Roselia, a Philipino Pastor and she is one of our first year students. Last week she was in a Greek Island where she was invited to minister to a catholic Philipino congregation. She shared with us how wonderful it was to share the word of faith to those people. This has been her second time to minister there and she said that this time I took with me all the notes that I have taken in Rhema as I wanted to give everything.Their life is being touched and she was invited to go and minister again to them. She said even though it was very expensive to go there especially in the times we are leaving but I know I have what it takes to make a difference. The message of faith and hope in Christ and it was all worth it! We are so proud of our students, of these heroes of faith where they keep going even when ever thing around says you cant!
The men of our Church ministering
When Pastor Spyros was in the States we had the opportunity to have some of the men of our church minister. Even though Pastor Spyros was not here he has done such a great job that the church is in such a good hands. God has blessed us with wonderful and anointed men of God. Our prayer is that God will raise leaders, pastors in the midst of us who will take their place and be sent into the field.
Our vision is to open new churches and God has blessed us with wonderful people who love God.
Our Big Day - The first wedding in our Church!
In 16 days from now on the 15th of March we will have the great honor and joy to join our lives forever. It has been a wonderful journey and the preparation time quite an amazing adventure where God has been faithful in everything. God has been so good to us and our wedding has overwhelmed with joy all our church family. In every corner of the church you go and in every discussion you are, everything is about our big day. Between dresses and jewelleries, prayers and laughs the love of our church family has stolen our hearts. They have been supporting us and helping us in anything we needed. What touches our heart the most is that the one who is doing the marriage is the person that God has brought in our lives and has invested in us so much. It is such an honor for us to have Pastor Spyros marry us who is not just a pastor for both of us, but a real Father. We grew up in his hands, in all our journey he has been on our side, and now he marries his children. What a wonderful feeling!
Thank you Pastor Spyros for everything you have done and for helping and investing in us to become who we are. We look forward also to have with us all our family from USA, Albania, Sweden and Germany come in our big day. We would like to thank also each one of you for your love, your prayers and your support which we have truly felt on our journey toward a lifetime together. We love you and we wish we had you all with us!
The Body of Christ the light of - Greece
Greece is still facing huge challenges. It is unbelievable to see how people's lives have been affected by the crises. What hurts your heart the most is the despair of the youth and also the couples. Youth is in total despair with no vision and trying to hang on to something solid. The wages have gone so low around 300 Euros that it is hard to live upon that amount. Also crises have caused crises in the families too. You hear about a husband trying to immigrate in another state to find a better future.
We though the body of Christ are here on a purpose and for a purpose and Greece will not go under but we believe that this land will flourish like never before by the power of the Gospel. Here is the land that the righteous of the Lord live and the word says that where ever we put our foot on it belongs to us. We are standing and claiming Greece for Christ. We believe that we are here for a time such as this and that Christ is the answer, the hope, the solution and the way out from crises . Your support and your prayers are highly appreciated.
Greater Europe Book Project
Greece is one of 30 European countries that is part of the Greater Europe Book Project.
We are going to reach more than 700 million people who live in the Europe neighborhood. Plus many of these books can go into other parts of the world where the same languages are spoken.
We continue to work on the translation of more books so that by the end of the year we will have 10 titles ready.
MORE BOOKS IN GREEK LANGUAGE ARE COMING
We continue to work on translating more books.Soon we are going to print " Faith" and "Prayer" bible study course.
We have in our heart to translate books into the Albanian language and also in other languages and we are believing for provision to do so.
We would appreciate if you join your faith & believe with us for provision and people to help in this very big and vital project.
THE HELPERS INTERNATIONAL
"Light for the nations" a "Helpers Church"
It is so wonderful every time we receive news and feed back from the church in Korce. It is so encouraging to read their testimonies. Pastor Marsel and the leader's team are doing an amazing and remarkable job. This is a children's team doing worship and one guy from their youth named Kristi who is 15 years old has such a heart for his friends and the children that he invites them home or he sits at the stairs of his building with them sharing the love of Christ with the kids. His dream and his heart is to become a Pastor and it is so amazing to see the passion they have for the things of God.We are so proud of them and so excited about what God is doing in their midst. We would appreciate you join your faith and prayers with ours for these young on fire for God people.
Lack of true Leadership have taken the nation in these crises.
Greece needs Equip so much and we want to do the best for our leaders taking them to a new level and biblical model of Leadership.
We are so excited about our next Equip in Thessaloniki where we are going to have our graduation for those who have attended all the Notebooks of Volume 1.We believe it is going to be an amazing seminar and also we look forward to the time with our amazing trainers Br. Skip Ross & Steve Miller. The Equip Thessaloniki conference will be the 2nd & 3rd of May.
Also on May we are going to start in Equip Athens with the 1st Notebook of Volume 2 and we are so excited because it is a fantastic Material which really takes you in other dimensions.
We thank God for our Trainers Pastor Steve & Pastor George for Equip Athens who did a remarkable job in Volume 1.
Thank you all for the wonderful work you have done and continue to do.
We thank also each one of you for your prayers, your love your help and anything you did and do so that EQUIP GREECE would be a huge blessing to this country. We appreciate it. It's wonderful to work with great people like you.
