Rules: Tagger gives a word, then for each letter of that word you share an excerpt from your WIPs that starts with that letter.
Crawled out of my pit to post some tagged posts cause it's been too long, I apologise.
I was tagged by the lovely @vitanithepure (muah back at you;) with the word TIME.
I decided to go for 4 different fandoms. Here you'll find Kuroko no Basuke, Destiny (the game), Space Marine 2 and Cyberpunk 2077 ;)

"Time does kinda dull it out." V let the smoke slowly escape her mouth, faintly hoping it would dissipate together with some heaviness in her chest. "Kinda like when you replace flesh with chrome... Aches when the weather’s shit." She suddenly became completely still for a few seconds, and then smashed the cigarette's butt in the ash tray, while glancing at him. "So, if I would ever have a band, I'd name it 'Amputated feelings'."
"I dig it,” Dino nodded, finishing up his drink, "catchy."
The smile she gave him barely reached one corner of her lips. Vents inducted the smoke, yet it brought no relief.

“I think their main target thus far was Takao.”
“Eh?” Point guard turned to her.
“You sure?” Kawabe inquired, seeing first year being mostly unharmed, and surprised.
“Sort of.” Reina stated, then sighed, turning to Kazunari. “They can’t seem to match but each time they close up, you dodge or move away.”
Takao’s face went still in surprise for a second, and then slowly shifted into a sly smile that did not reach his eyes at all. He was looking at her dead serious. This transition was almost paralyzing, only years of training on how to keep breathing and stress under control did not gave up Reina’s discomposure.
“Someone’s been very attentive.”
‘Is he teasing?’ Reina arched an eyebrow back at him. “That’s why I’m here, Takao, to pay attention. Keep up.” Her tone was as calm as it could be, but she couldn't shake the way he was austerely peering at her.
“I’m trying, I just didn’t expect you to be this good.” He relaxed and was now back to usual smiley self.
“Do you want a sub?” Mika interrupted them.
“Nah, it’s fine.” Takao again wiped the sweat from the face. “I have no intention of letting them catch up.” He then looked up at Mika, with a sneer that promised the opposing team a couple levels of hell. Manager smirked back. Omi was very thankful he didn’t look at her like that. What the fuck? Who’s this Takao? This smug, self-assured, thoughtful, menacing, and skilled guy was the same lively and goofy fella that seem to be joking even in his sleep?

Maye paused, having another mouthful of brew. Silence between her words was becoming less and less comfortable, filling the room with angst, that was almost vibrating in the air like some annoying noiseless mosquito squeak, scratching the nerves.
"You could feel she was someplace dark, but it really did last a moment. I tried reaching out, but signals went to some pitch-black vortex, only pulling into itself. And then she came back to senses." Voxx added remorsefully.
"I'm sure you did what you could." Suzume tried to comfort him, placing herself near the concerned Ghost.
"We're here to help not judge." Shiro added.
"And then it showed...", Maye voiced slightly trembled, but she continued, "it showed me something that I wish I never saw, never heard, never witnessed, cause it's been haunting me ever since."
The Nightstalker tried to calm her shakiness, pressing hands to the cup as if it was her last anchor to reality. The cliffhanger raised the tension in the room as the pulled strings.
"What? Some horrible end-of-the-world scenario?" Suzume couldn't wait any longer.
"I wish..." Maye chuckled with only bitterness in her voice.

"Elion!"
His tone from somewhere around the entrance gallery instantly stood out in residence’s celebratory rumble, as if slicing her hearing to draw focus on him only, nearly making The Keeper wince. She slowly stepped in the arch overlooking the hallway, watching the Space Marine, still processing her own response. Blooming was said to be a gift of the highest clarity, yet she felt her mind was clouded as never before, causing her to react in strange ways.
‘Does he feel the same? Can he even feel? An Astartes, of all people…’ She sighed. Before she could move back to the stairs, he turned to her, observing, and Moraena’s confusion bounced back to her through his heavy stare under the knitted brows.
Gadriel went to catch on with his brother but as soon as he entered the residence he felt it again. Small cold shivers on the back of his head, as if sprinkled with tiny droplets of ice, he turned to the archway that led to the main stairs, and saw her looking at him, with the same expectant firm gaze as before. He still sensed no malice or danger from her, nor did he owe her anything but the intensity of Keeper’s eyes made him feel as if she awaited something from him.

No pressure tag for @theclockwitch @evelhak @choccy-zefirka @bnbc @vespersposts @cadencespark with the word ACHE (very relevant these days, lol)
when you use crafting for levels and it’s really unfitting, it always strikes me as something worthy of comment. local idiot tries to harass a stranger at a nebulous white-space crafting station, who is having None Of It
