Le monastère, Al Deir⁠ 🇯🇴⁠ ⁠ Un peu moins mythique mais tout aussi impressionnant, ne passez surtout pas à côté d’Al Deir (le monastère en arabe). Il ressemble énormément au Khazneh, mais pour le contempler, il nécessitera tout de même un peu plus d’effort (une bonne heure 30 A/R). En effet, on y accède par un escalier de près de 800 marches creusées à même la roche. Sur le chemin, vous pourrez heureusement vous arrêter boire un thé dans l’un des nombreux boui-boui existants (ouf).
