"Into the vortex" gathers four german noise makers from different genres for an exclusive noise / drone / dark ambient mini compilation. hailing from Berlin SUN WORSHIP have been pushing traditional genre boundary's since day one. while their brand of atmospheric black metal is rooted in traditional second and third wave black metal, these lads come from a different background than most people would expect. SUN WORSHIP are not your average beer-tent metal musicians, they are strongly rooted within the Berlin DIY punk and hardcore scene with a hand always stretched out for the noisy and artsy side of things. erupting from the depths of the DIY noise / avant-garde underground, "M1M0X0V9" is the first release by German ambient fear monger VOYDN. Originally a theater music composer, a long running musician and a visual artist, VOYDN was convinced to record some bleak and dark tunes exclusive for the yehonala roster. This two track EP marks the beginning of a series of releases that will take you down a decaying path of dying synths, broken pianos and assorted field recordings. you can feel the darkness and the loneliness that oozes out beneath the rotting inwards of some fractured and forgotten nightmare machine. VOYDN clearly marks off his territory with some outstanding apocalyptic drones. if you dig acts like Ulver, Lustmord, Mike Patton or a torn apart version of god is an astronaut, you should check out what "M1M0X0V9" has to offer.
