Bit of a rant but…

Mayor’s Manor is predicting Voynov might be coming back & playing for the Kings (though some people believe he won’t be reinstated). I hope he isn’t reinstated, because that would be ridiculous & would be a PR nightmare for the Kings (and the NHL). Best case scenario for me would be that he isn’t reinstated & is taken off the cap. Kings can sign another D with the money. But if he is reinstated, the Kings should attempt to terminate his contract. To try terminate Mike’s & not his wouldn’t be smart. I doubt there’s anything Mike could have done that could be worse than this, though I know we don’t know all those details. But still, it wouldn’t give the Kings a lot of leg to stand on for Richards, if they aren’t attempting to terminate Voynov too. With everything that has happened with Richards & Stoll, allowing Voynov back would be a mess for the Kings. I love the team, but even I don’t know how I’d react to a reinstatement.

I just want everyone to know that the reason I’m not commenting on this voynov shit is NOT because I’m okay with it, but is actually because I’m too pissed off to go into it right now.

I have to go into work soon and I need to be in a reasonably good mood.  When I get angry, it’s really hard for me to get over it, so I don’t want to go there yet.  I’ll comment on it when I’ve calmed down a bit.

It wasn't just some of the Kings talking to the media, in a "He's our teammate, and this is a difficult time for him and his family etc… " way. This was the Team & Management literally ignoring a directive from the League & inviting Voynov to skate with them. It wasn't 'I guess we can let him skate with us, it's an optional practice' etc.. The team and the players on the team made a group decision to show support for Voynov AND ONLY VOYNOV by inviting him to practice with them.
