everyone: p l a t o n i c f r i e n d s h i p
me: they’d hold hands and exchange the most tender of kisses, also they’re totally flirting
in other words, I know tuvok has a Wife, but you cannot tell me they don’t have absolutely logical pon farr emergency solution regarding potential unexpected happenings during his serving in starfleet, and also a partner never stopped my polymultishipper heart. tuvok and janeway are so tender. so sweet. they deserve a lil bit of a kiss from each other.
it’s not that I mind reading them as totally platonic, it’s that they’re blurry and indefinable to me. and I just simply want them to kiss, gently and lovingly and almost professionally but not quite.
Let your post be your voice 😜 Thank you : @voicesofyouth I wanna say this to you but couldn't 👏💫 #voicesofyouth #Voytalk #magazine #magazineshoot #magazinecover https://www.instagram.com/p/CQNLmTOi8Rm/?utm_medium=tumblr
If there is a moment when I really, truly heartily! ship Janeway/Chakotay, it’s the Shattered episode. It’s got everything to make me invested in them, and their dynamic and chemistry are at their best. And the time shenanigans! I’m always here for some time shenanigans. The trope of the character from the future telling the character that used to be their enemy, hey, I know so much personal stuff about you that you shared with me, we’re close, we’re friends, we’re intimate, and I’ll be one of your most trusted people, is just. ghhhh. How can I resist. And the question all of this arises in Janeway, for two people who started off as enemies it seems we got to know each other really well, so I've been wondering... just how close do we get?
Chakotays’ longing in his answer of there are some barriers we never cross.
I am so easy and I’m not mad about it. Please, writers, play me more.
weird kinda voy hive-mind between me & bro#1 tonight. I’m queue’ing up tuvok posts, he randomly sends “I like tom paris, but b’elanna’s too good for him” in the chat
I OFFICIALLY FINISHED VOYAGER.
I’m kinda too tired to write a nice coherent post about my opinion on the whole series, maybe because I had a long-ish pause between the rest of it and the last episodes I watched today. So just a few thoughts. The premise is fantastic -- a starship stranded from home! Two crews on different sides forced into working together! Do we stick to the Starfleet protocol so far from home, with no oversight, or nah? I think the Maquis/Starfleet crews conflict was resolved a little too easily, and there was a lot of things throughout the show that were just forgotten which was a shame cause they had a lot of potential. Some episodes were still incredibly nice and I have to make myself a list of those I especially enjoyed.
I loved the characters! Tuvok and Janeway’s relationship turned out to be my absolute favourite. I adore Harry. Tom and B’Elanna were surprisingly fun to watch, and Harry/Tom/B’Elanna is definitely a thing that should happen and everyone would be better for it. The show very clearly tried to push at me the idea that Janeway is the crew’s “mom” as well as the captain, which was unfortunate cause I find her hot as fuck and also want her to make out with a bunch of people. Also, the only one of her random one-episode guys I found her having any sort of chemistry with was a conflicted space fascist, and that was super weird. She did kinda made out with Tuvok right there on the ship’s bridge and also tenderly stroked his face at one point, so at least I’ve got that.
It was fun, it was Star Trek, I’m really glad I’ve watched the whole thing <3
well, seven/chakotay is exactly as out of the blue and makes NO sense as everyone says.
Janeway deserves to be kissed by literally anyone but a random male npc
