               𝐔𝐍𝐀𝐌𝐔𝐒𝐄𝐃 𝐁𝐘 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐃𝐈𝐒𝐏𝐋𝐀𝐘 𝐁𝐄𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐏𝐔𝐓 𝐎𝐍,   what little self restraint left is being tested. flipping dramatically through the book that sits in lap, no longer able to concentrate as aberration continues on.     ❛   i certainly hope this is not being done for my benefit.   ❜     spoken with true exasperation, gaze is finally raised to the warlock. finally able to properly observe the languid way that limbs flow to the beat of his own tune. not taking more that a moment to catch sight of the ring being so proudly displayed on one of his fingers. lips twitch   &   the dam holding back outrage gives !  book is launched at the guilty party’s head with a single flick of a finger. rising from seated position with little grace, quick strides are used to close the distance between them. hand twists in the feathered accessory, yanking the other down so that he may join her back in reality.     ❛   if you don’t take that off right now ...      ❜     pausing to think of a punishment suitable for such a grave offense.     ❛   well lets just say, i promise you’ll wish you had.   ❜

   𝐈𝐓’𝐒 𝐂𝐎𝐔𝐑𝐒𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐓𝐇𝐑𝐎𝐔𝐆𝐇 𝐇𝐈𝐌 𝐋𝐈𝐊𝐄 𝐑𝐈𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐒 𝐎𝐅 𝐁𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐃 𝐎𝐍 𝐅𝐈𝐑𝐄, he’s a wanted boy—  a young man living on borrowed time!   he thinks the devil is on his heels, has been told all his life that their dark lord is breathing down the back of his neck...          yet the book of the beast still he will sign, but why?    it confuses even maddox when he thinks about it:  promising his soul to the being that wanted him dead more than a decade ago.          yet the only way to protect himself was by obtaining power,     and the only way he would get that power was by signing the book.        either way,     maddox was damned.    transparently so as the older he grew, the more he could grasp just why his mother had whisked him away in the first place.

thoughts trickle like a stream, fluid but not quite time as unlike time, thoughts have some leeway in finding an anchor to the here and now.     glancing down towards the aforementioned “they”, blue flame reflects in a brilliant azure gleam, off of the gems on the other male’s fingers.
