Vrkasana or tree 🌲 pose is one of my favourite poses when I’m doing my own routines or practice at home. The balance aspect isn’t so easy when you first do it, but practicing it more has helped me appreciate and enjoy this pose more. It’s a very well known pose but not so easy to feel comfortable to do, even then, you can always do it better! I enjoy exploring the balance in this posture. The foot on the thigh can put you off balance when you first do it you. I like working with this part. I find it hard to totally have my arms straight and palms pressed together. I’m not sure if its because I have a big head or not. I try not to scrunch my should up and hold them near my ears. Its better to relax the shoulders down. I tend to hold my shoulders up, unconsciously, so they are often a little stiff. #yoga #yogalove #yogaeveryday #treepose #vrkasana #copenhagen #yogi (at Copenhagen)

Starting the day by getting the body moving helps so much. It literally gets the juices flowing! Getting blood flowing in different parts of the body gets stagnant blood moving, helping the body remove toxins and be more vibrant and healthy. Tree 🌲 pose or vrkasana is one of my favorite poses. I love the feeling of being grounded and extending upwards.
