there is something so unbearably beautiful about the fact that humanity has loved God in a thousand different languages.

through rosaries whispered with trembling hands, through kirtans sung until dawn, through incense and lamps and tears and poetry and surrender. through mary’s gentleness. through christ’s wounded heart. through krishna’s flute calling souls back home.

i don’t know. i just love all the ways people ache for the divine. all the ways we reach toward eternity with our tiny human hands.

sometimes i feel so full of love for God in every form that i could dissolve into light. it makes me want to cry. it makes me want to kneel. it makes me want to sing.

what a miracle it is to love and be loved by something infinite.
