A Rare Night [Closed]
The date he had taken them too was Sunday September 27th 2015 at approximately twenty after ten at night, the day of the Super Moon Eclipse on Earth. As the latch turned over from inside the TARDIS one of her deep blue doors swung open in the usual dramatic fashion and out stepped her stolen Time Lord in his tenth reincarnation. The clear but inky black dark sky above had but one light this night, the full moon in all its glory reflecting the light of the sun. On this night however a small part of the moon was already missing, the moons left side looked as though something had taken a bite out of it. It seemed he was a little bit later than he had intended.
On this cold fall night the lonely man found himself staring up at a celestial event that humans all across their world would be gazing up at tonight. He had often visited this planet seeking adventure but rarely did he stop to watch something that, to most everyone else, would only happen once in a life time. Something different than normal was happening tonight and though it did not bring calamity like his usually escapades he was happy to sit back and watch. Though tonight was a rather unusual night for himself as well, tonight he was not all alone.
“Bit late I’m afraid.” He called back to the open TARDIS door. “You coming out or not, Jack?”
