In light of me considering getting my hair color changed, I am wondering how you think the boys would react to reader having dyed hair. Either when the color is at its brightest or after the roots have grown out.

I think the boys would be in a few different camps with this one. They would obviously come around and as long as you are happy and hurt they will let it be.

They think you've been hit by magic: Legend, Hyrule, Wind, Time

They think you might be sick?: Sky, Four, Wind

Wonder if you are secretly part of a race with odd hair colors: Twilight

Knows what hair dye is: Wild

I honestly am just sitting here imagining you and the Wild trying to explain hair dye and all the things that go into it and also all the fun colors and designs you can do with it.

Wind would also demand that you help him find the stuff to dye his hair

Does Hyrule have something equivalent to dying your hair with Kool aid? Can you find Hyrule Kool Aide and dip dye Wind's hair? (I hope so this sounds fun!)

I may have had the original Drag Path by Twenty One Pilots on repeat this morning. I can kind of see the chain looking for evidence of the reader all around them in their grief. They may follow the path unintentionally only to find the reader again.

Everything is the drag path, old pictures half finished lotions, a specific brand of food, reader's favorite seat. Everything.

I AM LOVING EVERYTHING FOR WITS SO MUCH!! You are doing an incredible job of bringing them to life here! I am in awe, genuinely. Reader having some form of foresight, no matter how vague, is great. I'm just imagining the Reader looking at the chapter number, the page number, and the pages left and just going "You know? I really don't think this is actually the end..." -VS Anon

Reader's foresight is one of my favorite things. If they ever saw my rambling posts about the writing I have done versus plans they'd kick them.

I'm gonna be so real, I forgot the name of Doc McStuffins, and Dr. House was the next best thing that I could come up with. The idea of a wide-reaching network of isekais and reverse isekais is absolutely hilarious to me. The boys could take comfort in meeting others who have gone through what they are going through. Maybe the town is known for its childlike wonder with grand holiday celebrations. The summer festival invites "Pirates" and "Mermaids" and "Princesses", leading to people traveling from all over to disconnect from screens for a bit and just have some good old-fashioned fun, like a town-wide Renaissance Fair.

Okay wait - I'm so tempted to actually make that a thing with the story

This is such a cool idea too - a town where everyone can share similar feelings

There are also support groups and resources to help set up the isekais and reverse isekais in a world not made for them

The town holds all sorts of festivals and is a tourist destination

Of everything I expected or anticipated, the Lego Ninjago crew being booted into Reader's world and becoming friends was not even remotely within my bingo card. I am now imagining that this neighborhood is actually just chock-full of characters from different franchises. Mario and Luigi both do maintenance; (Wreck-It) Ralph manages a construction company with his business partner, Hudson; Dr. House runs the local clinic (so you might want to avoid it); and electricians Zuko and Azula are constantly arguing about the correct way to organize their electrical cables. (I've just finished chapter twenty.)

Okay hold up - I love that! A whole town/ city full of isekais that don't know the others are isekais until later

The plumbers who are named Mario and Luigis are amazing! The doctor? Ehh....

The police are actually competent and not corrupt (it's my fantasy world I get to make the system not screwed) this is run by both Mystery Inc and the "Bat Family"

There's a veterinarian office run by Beast Boy and Fluttershy

The local bakery? Run by Peeta and his wife runs a butcher shop

I was talking about WITS to one of my coworkers (at my old job because somehow having two jobs gives me more free time) and I verbatim said “… and unfortunately for them, my favorite genre of story is Hurt/No Comfort and my second favorite is Hurt/Comfort,” so I do not think I would survive an encounter with the Chain either. Assuming they knew what I contribute to/write in my free time.

Okay first of all you are so correct to like hurt/comfort and hurt/no comfort!!

Thankfully the boys will never find out what I've put then through is my doing. Except Wind, he's my favorite little brother shaped character and it shows.

I am absolutely HERE for the image of reader getting tossed around in a tornado but the stories are all “Yeah, they saddled up with their lasso and rode the tornado while fully in control of their body.”

Yeah, they did NOT control the tornado, but they survived it, which is still pretty cool.

The tall tale is inspired by an American Folk tale I heard growing up.

Supposedly, Reader ended up riding a tornado like a bucking mare until they tamed it. Then they had a pet tornado.
