Unlike his uncle Rollo, Björn has no problems understanding what being a king means. Ragnar taught him to respect the title and not just the man.
Ragnar’s advice to his son: always use your head!
One of the reasons Ragnar is now king is that he never stops monitoring what is going on around him. While others are busy partying, Ragnar hides in the shadows, observing and gathering facts.
When Lagertha becomes an earl, she takes the name Ingstad. Ing is another name for the god Frey, lord of fertility, sunlight and rain. The same Frey that Lagartha asks to bless her with a son in season 1.
Floki; a joker or a very wise and capable man...:)
Ragnar's bedtime-story
"Now, Kvasir was a man of great wisdom. He could answer all the little children's questions. The story of Kvasir's wisdom soon reached the ears of two horrible brothers, the dwarves Galar and Fjalar. And these dwarves hated Kvasir for being so clever. So, they lured him into a gloomy chamber, and then they snuck up on him, and then they stabbed him, dead! And his blood spurted everywhere."
