Second race of the VSCDA Spring Brake at Gingerman Raceway weekend. We were the last race on Sunday so only about half of the field turned out, which netted me a third place overall and another second place in class. For the second race I mounted a second GoPro on the opposite suspension arm facing the rear. Not as effective as the mount points I had on my Lynx B, but still provided some interesting footage.

I’ve moved up a class for 2017, selling my Formula Vee for this 1977 Lola T440 Formula Ford. After some work over the winter the Lola was ready for a shakeout weekend at VSCDA’s Spring Brake event at Gingerman Raceway. The Lola ran great at I finished second in class (Club Ford) in the Saturday 2 lap sprint race. I didn’t really have time to figure out where to mount my GoPros, so I mounted a single camera to the front suspension arm just to see how it would work out. The view is a little blocked by the tire but overall it’s a pretty cool viewpoint.
