THIS AU MAY NOT CONTINUE
For months, I loved Vampires and the fandom. It's the first fandom I've ever really participated in and nearly everyone seemed so lovely to be in the same online space as.
But recently, in the past couple weeks or so, I've started to fall out of love with it. And I won't lie, it's mostly to do with the fandom and certain statements from CCs. It's been making me dread writing and drawing the comics in fear that I might get hate or harassment, even if my work doesn't go against these so-called "boundaries".
It's just not been a fun fandom to be in recently.
Now this isn't to say that I'll never make anything for this story again because I may if this all blows over soon, or if I find myself in love with the ideas I've had again. Just consider this an indefinite hiatus.
However, I will not stop making comics or stories. I'm just going to pivot to more original stories and characters for the foreseeable future. I'm even in the middle of planning out my first original long-form comic at the moment! I'll probably be posting more of that on my main blog @unlikelypapaya.
