cue the playful - yet daring - smirk splayed on her face.

*  『  Raising  a  playful  brow  in  return,  Kris  flops  onto  the  ground.  Their  jaw  wasn’t  wide  enough  to  mimic  her  earlier  motion  so  limbs  instead  wrap  around  Susie’s  leg,  akin  to  a  sloth.  Solidifying  that  grip  teeth  bite  down  on  her  pant  leg. 

They  mumble  something  inaudible  between  stifled  laughs.

*  『  There  wasn’t  so  much  a  flinch  as  Kris  looks  down  to  their  encaged  ankle.  Instead,  they  give  a  toothy  grin  with  palms on  tilted  hips. 

“ I see  Susie  anklets  are  in  this  summer.  So  chic. ”   』

Kris was trying to spin it like that, in reality they would have always chosen to side with Susie on causing whatever havoc she wanted to do. In part it was something Kris wanted as well. They were sick of being so alone. No one ever saw or noticed, even as part of their family they were barely an afterthought.

That wasn’t to say Kris didn’t love their mother. They did, they just didn’t deserve that love. It was clear too who the favorite was. Asriel this, Asriel that, it wasn’t envy it was everything simply reminding Kris of what they lost.

“Wanna go drop bath bombs into the school toilets? Bet we can flood it...?”

Kris sounded happy? Maybe? It was hard to tell.

Susie looked around herself, a mischievous grin displaying across her maw.

* Look what I can do.

She then proceeded to rest a flat palm under her armpit. She lowered her arm with a swift movement and, subsequently, a weak prrrt noise was heard. Cue the overly excited and overly large smirk stretching her lips.

Another prrrt followed...and another...and another.

* 『 Kris simply looks up from their (PLURAL) project. They squint, long and hard at their goofy friend, looking upset… until they crack, snorting and now thoroughly distracted from they were writing. Whoops.

Kris looks as though they were going to join but then remembers… they never actually got the hang of armpit flatulence. Double-Whoops.

But they grin at their own poor, inaudible, attempt anyway. 』

Halloween-themed Sentence Starters- Accepting!

“... well, um... you certainly carved it, yeah.” Carved it straight in half, specifically, pumpkin seeds scattered all about. She can’t do much more than raise her brows at the sight at first, picking up the top half by the stem and looking over the damage... it was a really clean cut, if nothing else. Impressively so... hm. Hm!

Wasn’t exactly what she’d had planned, but she can work with this. Placing her held half back atop the bottom one, she tentatively just... pulls it up, and then down, and then up? Playfully opening it. Sort of like a... 

“You’re seeing it too, right? If we carve in some interlocking teeth, we could make them a CHOMP-o-Lantern!” She spouted with an excited little cackle, continuing to fiddle with the split pumpkin as she did so. “Just imagine it! They could just be like RAAAAAARRR!

Makes relighting the candle even more convenient, too!”

Kris had been joking with the box comment. There was no way Kris the “master prankster” would suggest something that bland for a spooky costume. They already had an idea on what they intended on being. But, for Susie one idea stood out over the others. Kris did some pacing seeming to be in thought before banging their fist onto the palm of their other hand dramatically. 

“What about Bamzer from Super Smashing Fighters? That big spiky turtle that grows big and crushes everything. You fit that motif! Bad guy, smashes stuff, spikes, its perfect!”

Kris smiled, feeling proud of themselves for suggesting it.

“I can ask mom to help me make it. She would love to help,”
