Nora Simmons (+ Adeline Westwood) || VC AU Event- Being Human
Nora Simmons grew up in Charleston, South Carolina as one of four siblings to her strict, loving parents. Mr. and Mrs. Simmons ran a family medicine clinic just outside city limits, where Nora would spend much of her time after school when she wasn't watching her younger siblings. Wanting to follow in her family's footsteps, she decided she wanted to be a doctor like her parents, but knowing that wouldn't come easy, or cheap. Rather than jump right into college, Nora took a couple years off to work and save money, occasionally traveling when the opportunity presented itself. During her time studying pre-med in college, Nora met Artus Westwood, falling for his wit and charm instantly. The two remained the happiest of couples, even when Nora became pregnant during her junior year of college. After some long talks and support from Artus, she eventually changed her major to nursing. During the middle of her pregnancy, Artus took an acting job that shot him straight to stardom. Although Nora was thrilled for her partner, his A list celebrity status soon drove a wedge between the two, eventually causing them to split when Adeline was almost two. Adeline is now four and just as spunky and charming as her parents. Nora took a nursing job at Garond District Hospital after she finished her degree, and has been there for the last few years. She and Artus co-parent well and his family plays an active role in both Nora and Addy's life.
