In the Popol Vuh, the evil birdlike deity Vucub-Caquix took the form of a false sun and moon of the twilight world.

He was shot down with a blowgun by the hero twins Xbalanque and Hunapuh, who later became the sun and moon of the present world.

1. Nezha, childlike warrior god from Chinese mythology. After his death, lotus roots were used to build him a new, unaging body.

2. Vucub-Caquix, a monstrous bird god from the Mayan epic Popol Vuh. He took on the form of the sun and moon, before being shot down by the hero twin Xbalanque and Hunapuh.

3. Semyaza, leader of watchers from the Book of Enoch. He led them in their plans to fornicate with human women, resulting in the birth of the Nephilim.
