An *idea*
Obi and Shirayuki traveling in the north for so long together that like, the lines of what is and isn’t appropriate for people who profess they’re only friends. Obi started it by using the ‘bodyguard’ card - with only the most honest of intentions - so that like, when Shirayuki follows suit, pushing back, testing his boundaries, this pattern of breaking convention and stuff spirals. The way they dance around platonic and intimate is what really drew me in I guess~
