Remnants.
The First Post
Let’s give this writing thing a try. Actually, let’s give courage a try. I’ve been writing for a while now. I’ve enjoyed it with a goal of testing my creativity. I also have spoken about inspiring. How can I inspire if I don’t share it? I need to put myself out there and let it be. I need to be more vulnurable and couragous. I will begin practicing what I aspire to do.
Personal thoughts; love language.
My love language is quality time. I like to constantly be around the people I consider my friends and family because that is what brings me joy. That is what fills me up with life and keeps me going. I could be with you for a week straight and still feel like hanging out because that is how my heart works. I honestly never get sick of the people I love.
And that scares me because I know others don’t think the same way.
I'm falling
Too hard
Too fast
For something
I'm not sure will last.
My past
Has left me broken
To the point I don't
Want to open
Up to anyone
Because coming undone
Means being vulnerable.
And I'll I want to do is scream "THIS ISN'T WHO I AM".

"Vulnurable" by The Used
Released March 26th, 2012
Anybody who knows me will know that I am a huge fan of post-hardcore/emo group The Used. Having said that, I am not blind at the declining quality of their music from their previous album. 2009's Artwork was bad, with only 2 or 3 good songs on it. So consider my shock when their latest release, "Vulnurable", may be their most complete album since their first record. While it doesn't have as many stand-out tracks as most of their other albums, each song flows into each other so well. This is a front-to-back kind of listen. Mixing in elements of electronica, reggae, beatboxing, & even dubstep, The Used took the opportunity of no longer being with a major label to take a lot of risks. And as a long time fan of the band, I am proud to say they work. Welcome back.
My moods.
It's like sometimes i feel so perfect and i feel as though nothing and no one can stop me.
Then other times i feel vulnurable and as though anyone who really wanted to could just break me.
I'm weird like that i guess.
