I have never once considered Vulpes/Lanius, but now that you've said it, I'm gonna think about it weeks. Much appreciated

Totally don’t think about the disappointed way that Lanius talks about Vulpes when he’s mentioned, and if you do please for all that is holy don’t imagine them as past lovers torn apart by circumstance and war who can no longer recognize the person they once called theirs.

Whoever broke it off knew it would be safest for both of them to keep their distance from one another, especially after failing to recognize each other anymore, but they always get pulled back to the other’s bed somehow-

I have many different interpretations of how a Vulpanius relationship could go but “past lovers torn apart by war changing them” works so well with the themes of fallout that I cant NOT mention it first
