“If you don’t move out of my way, I will kill you.” He didn’t know who he was or did he care. He wasn’t in the mood for any sort of games. His cold eyes watched the stranger. Samurai. Typical. They often got in his way and he often had to teach them a lesson in respect with their lives. However, he had gotten more merciful in his age. He continued to walk past the stranger now looking back towards the path before him as he continued on.

Rin had gotten caught up in her work and forgot about going to meet the stranger and as soon as she remembered, she tidied up her workspace, told Kaede-sama she was going out for a little and ran to the guest house. 

“Okami-san! Is the visitor I walked here earlier still here?” she asked, only a little out of breath from her running. She really hoped he hadn’t been waiting for her long. The woman smiled, nodded and pointed down to the common room. Rin bowed and made her way down to the room, kneeling in front of the screen door before calling out.

“Um, hello! It’s me. I’m really sorry for making you wait!”

Kagome’s eyes lit up when she saw the other. “Akiyama! It’s been forever! How are you?” She closed the book in her hands– another anatomy textbook– and left it to lay in her lap. It has been awhile since she has been in the feudal era, a while meaning more than three days.

His head tilted at that, somewhat to the left by about thirty or so degrees ear metaphorically twitching at the words. “Nightmares… about apples… my lord?” Akiyama tried not to sound confused, it probably failed, but he did try.

The hanyou made a face the when someone unexpectedly answered him, a less than pleased noise growling in his throat. Slowly he turned in his seat at the base of the apple tree and shot a pointed glare at the stranger. Wondering how he snuck up on him like that, though not out loud.

 “You didn’t hear anything about apples.” Grumbling in a huff.

If They Had A Kid... (Meme)

I’m gonna go with a modern twist on this, since I’ve created four Rin/Kohaku kids for canon verse already ^^ 

Name: Kaito and Seiichi

Gender: Male

General appearance: The boys are identical in every respect save their eye colors. Kaito has a bright, honey amber eyes while Seiichi has darker, grey/black eyes. They also have the families brown hair. They have very athletic builds, tall, and lightly tanned. Kaito gets freckles all over his boy if the sun is able to touch his skin. Seiichi tends to stay inside so he isn’t getting a lot of sun in general. 

Personality: They are the typical outgoing paired with introverted twins. Kaito doesn’t think before he acts, diving into life with zero regrets, but 50% of the time he ends up with some kind of scars from said diving. Seiichi takes calculated risks to reap the most rewards for his actions. He has a small group of close friends where as Kaito is literally friends with the whole school basically

Special Talents: Kaito is student council vice president and thrives off interacting with others, and he’s got his mothers charm that lets him get away with things he probably shouldn’t get away with. Seiichi is president of the Kendo club and may or may not be a closet online gamer. 

Who they like better: Depends on the day and who’s nagging them.

Who they take after more: Kaito = Rin, Seiichi = Kohaku, though kohaku isn’t quite as reserved as Seiichi

Personal headcanon: Seiichi was born at 11:55 pm and Kaito was born at 12:05 am so they technically have different birthdays.

With an annoyed huff Kaiden walks out of a hut, on the ground lays a fellow still dazed and confused by what just happened to him. The slayer fixes her haori and returns her sword to its rightful place by her side. “Some people, I swear.” she muttered under her breath.

As she walks through the village, she accidentally bumps into someone. “Oh, I’m very sorry, I wasn’t watching where I was going.” she apologizes quickly.

Object Given: A pair of tekkō with a note reading, "Your arms are even more scarred than mine are, these will look after your hands, at least."

“you shouldn’t waste such things on men like this one.” he says, looking at the things in his hands. He used to have some like this, but he had discarded them with the rest of his hitokiri gear. 

They didn't tend to do mch in quelling the urges too... 

“but... thank you. How can this one repay you?”
