Just the ToC is enough to give me an overdose of nostalgia for the years 85-95. Mostly great interviews. @avant-gardenfrombelow:transgressiveperformance @clemensmarschall @quimbysbookstorenyc #performanceart #ggallin #joecoleman #jericainrossi #lisacarver #vvale #markpauline #georgepetros #nickzedd (at Quimby's Bookstore NYC)
The moment I tell him the words he repeated last night The moment I tell him the blackmail of military school The moment I tell him the way I felt when he almost throw me out His face was blank With no remembrance Plain blank Only to hear his scream once more "Now I'm the bad guy!! Do you see how selfish you are" When all I wanted to do, is tell him how and why I felt this way for 17 years
Wanting to tattoo " The world doesn't owe you anything" on my right arm, so every time I stop working, I'll work even more because I have to work and fight for what I want.. No one else will do that for me
One thing I always realize once I'm in Italy and once I leave Italy is how much I could have and wouldn't have if I was living there. I would have friends that last a life time, a car, a stable relationship, saying less heartbreaking goodbyes and family around me. What I wouldn't have is the experience of traveling, the knowledge, the heartbreaks that make you grow. At this point I don't know which choice was better. Live in the same place and grow up with my family or travel and grow as a person..
