==>Try to sort out your feelings over all the Eridans you know.
((Funny, I was actually just planning on making a post to this effect.))>You privately and inwardly searched yourself for an answer to all these mounting frustrations about your ex-moirail. Or, ex-moirail*S*.You decided to start on a positive note - ahabsiconoclast didn't seem so bad. He was funny, and he had made you smile plenty of times through his foolish antics (though indirectly, but you supposed it didn't much matter). You liked him. You liked him a lot. Then there was vvesimies. You weren't sure how to feel about him or his constant insistance of his coolness. You actually thought he was kind of lame, but in a cute, pitiful sort of way. He didn't seem SO bad, you thought, but you weren't sure - and you weren't sure you wanted to find out. Better to have hope that he was good than know that he wasn't.Now you moved down the list to vvoldemora. You had mixed feelings towards him. Sure, you liked him well enough, and you knew he was truly remorseful for what had happened (as a matter of fact, for more than you could dare to know). He was nice, and polite, and very interesting. You got the feeling that he was happy, and he had changed for the better. But, you still couldn't shake the awful wariness when you spoke to him. That there was still something not quite right. And it made you feel bad that you couldn't get over the feeling. It made you feel like a bitter, cold person and an awful friend. But the other Eridan's pretty much proved that those feelings were justified.Holydestruction had to have been the worst offender. But he couldn't help it, you saw. He was just so upset, so angry, hurt, and betrayed - but most of all, he was BROKEN, and doing all these wrong, terrible things was all he knew how to do at this point. You knew enough history to realize that it had a tendency to repeat itself. He didn't know how to learn from his mistakes. Whatever pity you may have felt for him, though, had long since dried up, and had been replaced with sheer terror. As he was hurt and betrayed, so too were you, and you had no remorse left for him to draw upon. You refused to allow him to hurt any more people if you could allow it.Ah, and the newest addition to the crew, but certainly the freshest in your mind - masterofthetide. Your feelings toward him were more heated than any other preceeding him, simply because he had been the unfortunate soul to prove you right. He proved to you beyond any doubt that even though the events may have been different, all Eridan's were the same, and all of them were terrible people. It was a shame, though, because of all of them, he at first struck you as the most agreeable and understanding. Maybe you were being unreasonable. Maybe you should have given peace a chance. All this introspection had done little to nothing to clear the clouds of worry and self doubt that draped over the skies of your heart. Perhaps you should have ended on a good note rather than having started with one.But one thing was certain - you absolutely hated these circumstances. You hated how the strangers that appeared on your blog were so focused on it, and you hated how impactful it was to you. Because, in the end, Eridan was not your defining characteristic. You weren't "the ex-moirail/love interest," and anyone stupid enough to think that could fuck right off into deep space. Eridan was not the axis to which your world spun, because there was no way you would allow such a thing.Eridan could choke on his own ego and die for all you cared. Your world would still spin all the same.
