Gluttony:
One would assume by the name that Gluttony would happen to deal with those who indulge too much. Others would stereotype him with overeating, hoarding of food, and other such edible items.
Gluttony happens to take those ideas as insults to him. In Hell, he’s very much the owner of a massive pharmaceutical corporation. The place isn’t exactly about drug making, as much as one would want to think. The corporation stands as a symbol of gluttony itself. (Shame, shame, those people holding life saving medicine above a poor person’s head.)
Personality wise, he’s level headed at work, but quite paranoid when outside his office. He thinks that with all these stereotypes he has against his title, he’ll get his job taken away because he doesn’t “fit the picture”. (News flash: He does fit the picture. He’s just too paranoid to see that.) When in his office, he can maintain a rather cool air around him. It’s just...work to him. That’s it. It’s structured and nothing really bothers him unless there happens to be a meeting.
He works hand in hand with Greed, who takes care of the economics behind both the sinners that cross into his realm and the corporation he manages. When I mean the “economics” of sinners, some might have a 50/50 on both greed and gluttony. These are mainly greedy medicinal business owners who deprived those of medicine because they couldn’t pay up.
Sins he would consider “friends” would be: Greed, Envy, and Lust. Sins he hates to be around: Pride and Sloth. The other sins he’s neutral with.
Other facts: - He has an addiction to coffee (like, to the point where the local coffee shop in his realm knows his order by memory. They see the fluffy sideburns and they just Know.) It’s probably the cause of his paranoia, but no one tells him that because they don’t want to get on his bad side. - He’s very, very sarcastic and rude towards people he dislikes. He’ll drop the sarcasm if he’s really wanting to mend things with the person. - He has a sign on his office door that says “No medical questions, please.” because demons come to him on a daily basis asking said questions thinking that he’s a legitimate doctor. Even though he has that sign out, demons still come and ask him questions. - He is the sin with the biggest mix ups on who’s supposed to go to Hell or not, so he’s constantly filing paperwork to get souls back into Heaven (or Purgatory, dependent on if their behavior was an offense, but not a Hell Worthy offense.) - He has sent a notice to angels that simply said “Just because some “cool kid” in high school smoked weed, doesn’t mean that he goes to Hell. Get your shit together.”
