There may be other characters included, but the focus of the fic must be on the Vees

did i miss the deadline? yes, i did. health issues and all that, but i really wanted to join so i'm joining late af thank you @veesevents for hosting it! day 01: Main Character (Vox, Velvette, or Valentino) all the worst by spoondrifts this may be one of my all time top 5 favorite fics tbh. did i rec it before, yeah, but maybe some people didn't see it. beautiful writing. it has such a punch. i love it val/angel, implied vox/val. val-centric fic day 02: Less than 500 words, Less than 5 comments, or Rated G Shared Proclivities by hazbeing (writtenwordsaloud)

There’s a warmth in Vox’s chest that he blames on the drug. No one in their right mind would try to make a heartwarming movie out of this. An unethical tech mogul, a social media star, and a pimp on a hellishly expensive couch in a penthouse apartment – what kind of stupid audience could muster up sympathy for such assholes? It’s ironic that, only when Vincent really was dead and gone, that Vox became human in a way he once doubted he ever would.

Sure, the place had been long overdue for an overhaul. The decor aged and degraded by the hordes of filthy degenerates who had frequented the lounge's main hall and its many secluded corridors and rooms over the decades. It had been begging for a refit, a reinvigoration. It just wasn’t… sexy anymore. - It's opening night for Valentino's renovated night club, and the film overlord himself is putting on a rare pole dancing show. It would be a shame if a certain moth decided to try and rile up his 'business partner' during the performace.
