Spirit Thresh coming out of the lantern to torment her even in death while she takes up the role of him in his place as she killed him... and yet she still has feelings for this jackass.

The body is present, but the pup is not. 

The Kindred pause at the head of the body and stare for a moment, blue eyes wide and searching. Lamb kneels and Wolf noses the body’s cheek. With a disgusted snort, he recoils and snarls. 

“THE SPEAR!” he growls. “Her STENCH desecrates this pup.” 

“Again she has stolen from me,” Lamb agrees, a white finger tracing the body’s forehead. White light clashes with vivid, ghostly blue. Lamb removes her touch and looks at some point in the distance. 

“Again, I will TAKE BACK what is MINE!” Wolf howls before the Kindred disappear -- 

-- and reappear, in a blink, like a shadow, before the Spear. the Kindred approach her, Lamb slipping across the ground and Wolf stalking through the air. He snaps his teeth, rumbles deep in his throat. 

“AGAIN you do this thing, SPEAR OF VENGEANCE?” He curls his lip around her title, disgusted. “AGAIN you take from me? THE KINDRED will not have it! RETURN this soul to me!”
